FAQ
ORDERING
Q: How do I go about ordering from you?
A: We are currently updating this site with ecommerce. As you are browsing through the pages you may see a “buy Me” icon next to an image. You can order these images online through Paypal- just click on the buy me icon and follow the simple instructions. For any image that does not have the buy me icon you can use any of the methods described below.
You may email us from either our contact page, or this link. You can call us at 510-635-5914, or you can send us a fax to 510-635-1277. We will need your name, shipping address, the items you want to order and a daytime phone number. We also require a credit card, the credit card billing address, and the three number code on the front or back of the card. If you are uneasy about emailing or faxing your credit card, we will contact you at the phone number provided to get your credit card specifics.
Q: When I order, how long will it take to receive my pictures?
A: Print orders usually ship in a day or two. Stretched canvases, image panels, and framed portfolio prints will take from two to four weeks. In the case that Dennis is out of the country, some orders may be delayed because his signature and or approval may be required.
PRODUCT SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
Q: Why is it that two images can be size “small” but have different dimensions?
A:Dennis crops each image to it’s best advantage, so most images have slightly different dimensions. The dimensions next to the images on the portfolio pages are the exact image dimensions. Each size category was given a nickname (small, medium, large, etc.) to make it easier to order
Q: Why does Dennis print his Portfolio prints with white borders?
A:Because many of the images are slightly different sizes, printing the portfolio prints with the white border allows us to offer you a common outside dimension. We have specifically chosen outside dimensions that are the same as ready-made frame sizes, so that you can easily frame your portfolio print on your own. Dennis pencils in the location and his signature directly below the image- it makes a fine statement without matting.
Q: I like the idea of a frameless approach but can’t decide between and image panel and canvas. Which should I get?
A: As far as print quality goes they are equal. Canvases have more texture to the surface and have a slightly glossier finish. Image panels have a more even matte finish. The edge of the image panels are black, while the canvases have the image wrapping around the edge of the stretcher bar. Some people really cherish the limited edition aspect of the canvas, while others forego that because of the great pricing on the image panels. It is an individual decision and we are sure that you will be happy with either.
